Locating the route 279 bus stop at Box Hill Station
If arriving at Box Hill by train…
Come out the exit turnstyles into the shopping centre and go straight ahead. You will see a pharmacy and a Tattslotto agency. Make your way towards them and bear right which will take you though an arch with the sign "Food Court" above it and you will then see an escalator going up. This will lead you to the bus station. When you come out, turn left and proceed to Bay 5 which is the Route 279 terminus. Bay 5 is the furthest from the entrance.
If you do not like escalators or cannot manage them there is a lift, though it can be a little difficult to find. Coming from the train proceed past the escalator and through the upper and lower Food Courts. You will eventually see a Reject Shop and to the left of it a Stadium Sports shop. The lift is to the left of Stadium Sports. When you get out of the lift at the top, cross the roadway at the marked crossing and proceed straight ahead around the building until you eventually reach Bay 5.
If arriving at Box Hill by bus…
You will alight at Box Hill at much the same place as you will catch the route 279 bus to NewHope church (Bay 5).
If arriving at Box Hill by tram (route 109).…
You will find that the tram stop has a raised platform for easy disability access.
There is then an easy walk directly South into Centro, after which turn left and follow the 'arriving by train' instructions (above) to the bus level via stairs or lift.
