About AUSOM

AUSOM (pronounced ‘awesome’) is Australia’s largest and most active Apple User Group, established in 1980.

The Apple Users’ Society of Melbourne is now known as AUSOM. We have hundreds of paid members and are the largest and most active Apple User Group in Australia and one of the largest in the world.

AUSOM exists under relevant Australian regulations as an Incorporated Association – hence ‘AUSOM Inc.’ It is a not-for-profit organization run almost entirely by volunteers.

It provides a wide variety of services for our members.

Get among knowledgeable friends!

Your Apple Mac is the most versatile, easy-to-use computer available, but how can you explore its full potential? The Internet is great for getting help, but not if you don’t know where to start looking. AUSOM provides you with contacts and information sources that can help in ways that are so much more personal and interactive than struggling with the Web. Other Apple devices like the iPhone, iPad and iPod are also covered in our activities.
