Most of us use the internet to do research on all sorts of things. Some efforts come quickly and sometimes it takes a lot longer. Why is that? Can we improve our skills? This month’s Web Intermediate presentation will explore this. We will have a look at research to help with technology issues. And we will have a look at COVID research. Fun indeed.

We go over many of the new features in Monterey after 6 months. Delivered using a fast paced keynote. Features included are useful for all skill levels. Video will be made available after the meeting on the website.
When out shopping and collecting receipts after each purchase, instead of keeping a receipt that fades over time, scan it into your iPhone. The receipt becomes digitised and never fades. Receipts can also be kept this way for any warranty needs.

We will cover the best way for an iPhone which is to link the certificate from the Medicare Express Plus app with the Service Victoria app. This means you can prove you have checked-in and are vaccinated by scanning the QR code. Easy.

There might be word limits on an assignment submission or we just want to control the size of what is being written. Some software have a word count tool. Some software doesn’t. This universal word count can be used in TextEdit and Notes or anywhere that text can be selected.
