Some years ago, while teaching Certificate 1 IT to absolute beginners at various TAFEs using Mac and Windows, Bron Halls developed some cartoons to try to show the students how computer devices basically work … not by talking about the chips, hardware and software and so on, but by using the analogy of a big warehouse (storage) where everything was kept, and a tiny office building where the work was actually done. It seemed successful and actually rather fun. 

Now that analogy is brought to AUSOM in case it benefits our members, both newbie and established.
